Today was our first VBS day, which went so well! I’m always so amazed at how all the kids step up in their own unique, special way, and jump in to love on kids if they’ve never met before. It makes me so happy to see them being selfless and sacrificial and ministering the love of Jesus to these children.
The morning started with serving at someone’s house who needed a lot of help with throwing trash away as well as laundry. The other half of the group stayed back at Regent Life Church and worked on a list of things to be repaired, touchup paint, etc. It was a day of work and ministry. It’s 8 PM now and we took the students to a nearby church and let them play in the gym while the other half of the group shower. They all seem to be having a great time but also working hard too. Tomorrow we will do it all over again.!
