The Mission:

We are so excited to partner alongside Praying Pelican Missions (PPM) and the local church to bring ENGAGE Alaska 2026 to Valley Christian Schools, and we are so excited to be the hands and feet of Jesus with each of you. On this trip, not only will we experience The Last Frontier but also joyfully serve its people in the name of Jesus. Students will participate in a Vacation Bible School ministry (VBS) for kids, youth outreach, projects around the church campus, and helping elders and members of the church with repair projects around their homes.

The Travel:

On Saturday, February 28th, we will be traveling from Phoenix Sky Harbor to Anchorage, Alaska. Students must dress in their warm clothing for travel and pack lightly. A passport is not needed for this trip. We will drive back to Anchorage on Friday, March 6th, before flying directly back to Phoenix. We will arrive at Phoenix Sky Harbor on Saturday, March 6th.

The Accommodations:

Sleeping accommodations for this trip will be in a secure church with floor sleeping. Sleeping bags will be provided by VCS for each student. Meals will be provided by PPM while in the village along with local restaurant experience opportunities.

Applying for this trip:

Registration will appear as "Closed" on all EUS/EGL trip-specific pages. "Closed" registration does not mean that students are unable to apply. All trips have this status because students do not directly sign up for a specific trip. All students interested in a U.S. or Global trip must apply to the General Application linked below, where students will share their top 3 trip preferences.
