Monday

Monday was the busiest day of the trip so far! After breakfast we loaded up on the bus and went back to the church and met up with our translators. We then split up into groups of about 7 and headed out into the community for evangelism. In the next two hours we were able to talk to 15 families about Christ!!! We met back at the church at around 12:15 for lunch, and started our VBS program there at 1. We had a ton of kids!!! We were able to feed all of them, tell the story of Joseph and the coat of many colors, and do crafts for a few hours. After that we made it back to camp and had dinner (bbq pork chops and mashed potatoes) and the boys had dish duty tonight, so we rotated out in shifts to get all the camp’s dishes clean. After that we had our devotional time, followed by free time for the rest of the night. We played basketball again, and stayed up until like midnight playing Mafia in the commons. Today’s agenda is painting a community member’s house. Looking forward to the next update!!!
