Arriving at camp.

Wow, what a day. First of all, praise God for making our travel as smooth as it was. We had no issues at all with any ticketing, passports, immigration/customs, or baggage. Loading onto the busses was a bit of a science project but we made it work! We arrived at Mission of Hope campus at around 4:30pm local time, and after unloading the busses and getting settled in, we had an orientation for the camp at 5:30 and ate dinner (Lasagna) at 6!!! After dinner we gathered in the chapel for a time of worship and devotionals, then headed to the commons to play board games and build team chemistry. That plan, however, was short lived as everyone was exhausted from the day of travel, and everyone was in bed with lights out at 9:00pm (about 5 minutes ago). Tomorrow we’re looking forward to attending church in Hato Mayor in the community we’ll be serving this week. See you tomorrow!!!
