This day began with an extremely informative visit to the Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum. Our tour guide, Bradley, was engaging and a great teacher, and his words made quite an impact.
A stop at the fabulous Muddy Waters Café, and we were fueled for doing Chapel with BCS! Jake, Faith, Ruby, Sorochi, and Isaya led us in worship, and we heard the testimonies of Evan B, Grace L, and Andrew C.
Then it was pool time! All the Chapel-goers went to the pool nearby, and we had a blast building relationships with the BCS kids and other children from town that came out to play.
Evening came, and we all headed back to the church for Youth Group, where we ate, sang, and talked. AJ Z. and Carson R. shared their testimonies, and Pastor Isaac’s son, Doug, gave the message. On the way back to our dorms at the end of the night, we saw not one kangaroo, but two!
Evan B. led our team devos and prayer, and then our students continued their nightly tradition of boisterous card-playing before bed.
Full day, full hearts.
