“We are Blessed to be a Blessing.”

I was Blessed by the people at AAT when they made me feel like I fit in despite that I am a beginner at ASL. Overall, I had a great time on this Engage trip and definitely would do it again. - Kristen Schuler

The residents here were really like my grandparents and all of them were really friendly. They also helped teach me more signs! I am so grateful that I could have been part of this trip, and I hope I can visit and see them again soon. - Maddie Hooper

The first day what surprised me was what we had to clean. I got assigned a room to clean with some other people, and the room was an absolute mess. I think that my group Blessed the lady that we were assigned to in so many ways. We helped her out by cleaning up all the trash in her room, taking things to Goodwill for her, cleaning up her kitchen and her dishes, and cleaning up many messes in her house. - Jillian Kaminsky

I helped clean someone’s room, I helped serve breakfast and snow cones, and I helped a woman get breakfast and take her groceries to her room.  The woman whose room Madelyn and I cleaned was kind and gave us each a water. I felt Blessed by helping other people.  - Angelina Barbarisi

One lady I feel that we especially Blessed was Linda. She has the spirit of a young soul and wanted to party and dance all the time. She was so funny and was so thankful we were all there to help. This also Blessed me because it made me realize that to help others you don't need to go very far. Many people need help right here in your hometown. - Taylor Moskalik
