Mission:

“Spring cleaning”- residents could sign up and a pair of students could go to the residents apartment and carry out things for trash, goodwill donations, etc., help go separate organize things belongings to reduce clutter as they sign.
Breakfast with the students and a Technology Workshop where the young people can help the residents figure out things with their cell phones, tablets, laptops and learn how to order groceries or other food items online.
“Carnival” hosted by the students with some games appropriate for seniors, prizes for the residents, food like hotdogs, maybe snow cones, ice cream, coffee etc.

Apache ASL Trails Assisted living facility (AAT)
2428 E Apache Blvd.  Tempe, AZ 85288

Transportation Requirements:

Transportation will NOT be provided by the school. Families are responsible for getting their student to/from the service location.

Days & Times:

Monday: drop off at VCHS room #1, 9 am - 12pm
Tuesday: at AAT, 9 am - 12 pm
Wednesday: at AAT, 9 am - 12 pm
Thursday: at AAT, 11 am - 3 pm

Number of Students Allowed: 20 (must have sufficient ASL experience)

Prerequisites

  1. There is NO COST to the student
  2. Students will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to/from the service location
