Shortly after descending through the thick and fluffy layer of clouds, the Sydney Opera House was the first recognizable sight seen outside of the left side of the plane!
Loooong flight, but everyone is well! And we are grateful that going through customs was so smooth and fast, seeing as no one was hiding raw meat chunks or live chickens. We got our luggage (none lost!), and walked out of the airport to meet our contact, Andrew!
It’s overcast and apparently unusually windy right now. Lovely weather. :) We are loaded and driving in the Green Point Christian College bus, and on our way to our first stop!
*Some first impressions:
Morgan B - It’s colder than I thought, and it’s really green.
Grace L - It doesn’t smell weird, and I’m thankful for that.
Andrew C - Wow, this place is so cool! I love Australia!
Evan B - Why is it so cloudy?
