WHERE
Kauai, Hawaii
COST
$2,500.00

The Mission:

The main objective of this mission trip is to show kids the love of Christ through VBS and bonding. Some components of this will be sports, games, dance, music, story-telling, and friendship building! You can expect to spend lots of energy and time in the sun as well as potentially non-air conditioned rooms. We will be staying in a church that has good air circulation but will more than likely not have air-conditioning. Meals will be provided by the mission organization and will consist of breakfasts, sack-lunch style meals, and dinners cooked together. You will be challenged relationally with locals and will need to be ready to shine your light for the Lord while making friends with the church kids!

We will work hard and spend lots of time with VBS and other tasks from morning till mid afternoon, our afternoons will be spent on the beach/water/ and exploring the island, as well as more bonding with the kids, to recharge for the next day of camp!

The Travel:

You can expect to have only one flight from Phoenix directly to Kauai, Hawaii. It will take a few hours to fly there and will then be travel on vans around the island! You are not required to have either a passport or vaccinations for this trip!

The Accommodations:

You will stay in a local church housing where the boys will stay together and the girls will stay together. (separated) Food will be provided by the mission organization for each meal. Breakfast will consist of quicker meals and occasional larger meals. Lunches will consist of fast, sack-lunch style meals. Dinner will alternate between nicer meals and home-cooked meals.

Applying for this trip:

Registration will appear as "Closed" on all EUS/GL trip-specific pages. "Closed" registration does not mean that students are unable to apply.
