Before VBS, we went a state funded elderly home. About 35 or so senior citizens who really get visitors even from their families. Our kids stepped up. We song a couple worship songs. Olivia T spoke and shared why we were there. The kids polished nails and the boys sat and spoke with some of the men. They were so happy to have company. It was a little sad but also encouraging as we prayed for some of them.
VBS day 1 down. We had close to 50 kids, they worshipped, did crafts and played soccer. Again, from Kyle and Lake total leadership. Everyone stepped out of their comfort zone. Unfortunately I could not speak much because I am loosing my voice. This was such an inspiring day seeing how God used this kids and their gifts for His glory.
