As we wrap up here in Memphis, we know we’re going to miss this community when we return. Our students are ready for their own beds, but they grew to quickly love each of the students they encountered through Street Reach bible club. We are so proud of them that it’s hard to put words to this last day.
After bible club and a delicious “last supper” of chicken alfredo, we were able to serve SR by setting up 20 bunk beds to their incoming teams to utilize. Because our students are rock stars, it only took about 45 minutes. Please be praying for continued financial provision for Street Reach’s ministry needs. The ministry and the school are housed on the same campus. Praise God, the school is growing! However, this means that soon the classes will need to expand into the gym building where ministry teams are typically housed during the school year and all summer. As they prayerfully consider needs like a dedicated ministry dorm and expanded offices, please pray for their financial provision, partnerships, and continued school growth.
