Wednesday VBS at the beach
VBS looked a bit different on Wednesday. We went straight to the beach from our work sites. We met the children there.
Lots of play time in the water. There were a few games of volleyball along with a kickball game.
Kahu Kerry and her husband, Peter, along with some members of the church brought over BBQs and made us an amazing dinner on the beach. Our Bible teaching group for the day led us in a devotional and then we sang some songs together! It was beautiful.
Major highlight… we sang the doxology in English and they sang it in (Olelo) Hawaiian at the same time. It was heavenly.
