Day 5

Hey guys today is bittersweet, it was our last full day on ENAGE Mexico. This morning we woke up bright and early to a delicious breakfast immediately followed by morning devotionals led by several of the boys on our trip. They spoke about the importance of hardworking and finishing the week strong. Getting in the vans we drove to the site finishing the build and having an emotional dedication to our family. We chose the three seniors to present the keys and pray over the family. Afterwards, we traveled to a migrant camp splitting into two groups, one, handing out food, another connecting with all the kids. Our last stop was an orphanage where we played soccer, painted nails, and generally had an amazing time. Finishing with a delicious fish taco dinner. Returning to our house with a feeling of contentment and renewed empathy toward those who have so much less than we do. It was truly surreal to witness all of the conveniences we possess on a day to day basis that they don’t even have a chance to think about. Before free time we had churros and devotionals taking time to appreciate the goodness of our God and the willingness He instilled in us to serve for His glory. See you all soon!
