Day 4! We have been enjoying our trip so much and have found ourselves growing in our faith as well as in our relationship with one another. Today we started off another great morning with chorizo and potatoes, fruit, and the wonderful homemade salsas! We shared in a great devotional time before climbing in the vans to work a full day at the job site. The house is coming along and almost finished. Today we were able to finish the roof with the shingles and completed drywall prep for paint tomorrow. Mr. Stemple was able to take the mother and the little boy shopping with our project leader to buy some new things for their new home. This included a few items like a kitchen table, towels, plates, new cookware and utensils. They were very grateful and are so excited to move in. We worked a full day at the job site and were extremely hungry! For dinner, we headed to Poblano’s Taco Shop for some amazing tacos. We had mostly Carne Asada and Al Pastor, but a few folks indulged on the tacos de cabeza. :) After dinner we came back to the houses, cleaned up a bit and had an hour long devotional session where many hearts were shared and prayer and praise was given to our King Jesus. We are tired tonight with sore bodies but full hearts. Tomorrow we plan to paint the inside and dedicate the house to our family!
