Bible Club tonight had FIFTY FIVE students present! WOW! Look at God! We are so excited to continue with this program tomorrow.
What was your highlight from today:
Tristan - The Bible stories today was a ton of fun! Especially playing with Darius (student).
Kruz - Serving the community and Pastor Tim’s message inspired me. I got a lot of random hugs [during Bible Club]. I like teaching the kids how to catch.
Howard - Hanging out with kids. I really liked acting out the Bible stories and hearing them laugh at the play that we put on. (Tristan and Howard were “scary soldiers.”)
We sang happy birthday to Addi and had some treats to celebrate! Our devotions were led by Julianne and Emery. Their focus tonight was Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
Question 1: When you read scripture or come to the Lord in prayer, do you do it to know Him or to get something from Him? What do you find yourself asking for?
Question 2: What are some things in your life in the past that have happened that you’ve known was clearly the Lord’s hand working? How can we have a heart posture of thankfulness, “outward prayers”, and adoration for the Lord?
Question 3: What do you believe the purpose is for why the Lord placed you on this trip for such a time as this?
