Pastor Tim: Our prayer for today is "Lord, allow Your word to come alive in my heart so that I may see You, but more importantly that they will see You."
This morning, we got to hear from Pastor Tim to learn more about the history behind Brinkley Heights Church and the origins of Street Reach Ministry. PT is a gifted storyteller, and we’ve been enjoying hearing more from him.
Pray that the Lord continues to grant us grace and equip us to bring the Gospel into the spaces we're working in today!
Bible Club Debrief:
- 49 kids is an incredible blessing!
- Our students had a lot of fun yesterday.
- Isa and Addi did a great job pivoting and jumping in with the kids in each age group during songs. They are doing a great job.
- Bible Story is learning a lot and taking notes on how to continue to improve. Pray that their voices remain strong so that they can continue to use their full voices, keep attention of students, communicate clearly, and never lose a moment with the kiddos.
- Crafts was successful! We’re excited our students will continue to take more leadership in leading each group.
- Games had the time of their lives!
- Our Street Reach leaders are incredibly complimentary of our team, and they are giving us a lot of advice on how we can continue to improve. Pray with us that we take each note and apply it efficiently to improve all of our roles!
What was your favorite moment from yesterday:
Mecca - “There was this one kid who was walking around picking up pecans and eating them. He had a pocket full of them.”
Ellis - “Getting to get close with the kids! They really attach to you, and I really enjoyed that.”
Isa - “At the end, playing volleyball and one of the older girls gave all of us hugs before she left.”
