Hi! Today is our third day in Mexico. We started the day off with a healthy breakfast along with devotions and prayer before starting our adventure to the house. Once we arrived we broke up into three different groups, one started on the roof, others started on the drywall, and a small group painted the joists. We worked for about 4 and 1/2 hours putting up everything. Along with building the house, we got to hang out with some of the neighborhood kids and got to know them a little bit. With the help of the translators, we also got to get to know the family a little bit more. We got to play with the little boy, Angel, and he had a great time. By the end of our workday, we completed the rafters, the drywall, and papered and textured the walls as well. since we ended up completing a lot and working so hard, we got to celebrate the rest of the day at the beach enjoying some team bonding.
