Can we tell you something awesome? We have 49 children attend Bible Club today. FORTY-NINE! Isn’t that outstanding? We had planned for 25 students and prepared for as many as 40. What an incredible opportunity to show the love of Jesus!
We had four groups during Bible Club: bible story, crafts, song, and games. The students who attended were 4-11 years old. The Bible story for today was sharing the gospel of Christ’s love by sharing his triumphant entry, death, and resurrection. The craft was a paper fan covered in palm leaves. Our games team came through like champions leading Sharks and Minnows. Songs had requests from I Thank God to Church Clap to Disney Freeze Tag. What a day!
Our devotion this evening was lead by Corben. His focus was Romans 12:2.
Question 1: What “patterns” in our lives do we find turning us away from the Lord?
Question 2: Consider the things you regularly consume that have started to numb you. What can you begin to carve out of your habits and routines?
Question 3: What can you do to make these changes and grow closer to the Lord?
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
Please pray that our student rest well tonight and wake up ready for another day of kingdom work!
