Hey everyone, sorry I forgot to post last night! Yesterday was Sunday and we got up early, had breakfast and the students who were participating in worship practiced with the team and the rest of us participated In a prayer meeting with some church folks. The girls who sang did a great job and the church people loved hearing from them. I included a picture below- everyone in the church was super welcoming and loved to see our team. The people of Homer are very hard-working, independent and down to earth people.
We had a potluck with the church people after church and then we went into town and saw a little bit of Homer. I included pictures of that as well.
On Monday, we start VBS as well as working on projects to some of the church people that the pastor wanted to minister to who are struggling right now.
