Today was a BIG work day! What we accomplished: taking a huge pile of wood out of the shed to dismantle and get rid of, getting rid of an old stage, cleaning the grill, and then putting everything back into the shed. Shoveling rock to fill the potholes in the parking lot, shoveling more rock for a berm. Cleaning all of the churches windows inside and out, touch up paint in the the rec room where the high school kids hang out and making VBS signs. We took a two hour break for some downtime. Then got ready to host the family fun night again which included horse rides, face painting and cotton candy. VBS then started at 6 PM and went until 8 PM. We felt better about the flow of events today. We were more organized and better prepared. We are hoping for more high school kids tomorrow to come join us! Your kids are doing great and we LOVE getting to know them each better!!
