We met at the airport, checked in our bags, got our boarding passes, prayed with the parents, and walked to our gate. Only Sam received a pat down at security which he says always happens. :) Too bad we didn't get a picture. Our first flight to SFO leaves in about an hour and half. The students are ready to go with great attitudes. We thank you for your prayers. Specifically, please pray that the students can sleep on the long flight from SFO to SYD. Also, please pray that all bags make it to SYD. :) Before you hear from us again, we will have flown a very long ways, navigated customs, walked around Sydney Harbour, were hosted by some wonderful Australians for "afternoon tea," and will end the day with pizza from a local pizza place. Once we get to our accommodation on Tuesday night (Australian time - Monday afternoon US time), we will make sure to update you all.
