Paint day 2: electric boogaloo

Thursday was our 2nd house paint day of the trip. We met at the church and walked over to the house we painted on Tuesday, and our house today was right next to it! We got to spend more time finishing up the first house and painting the other one, and God showed up in a big way. Mission of Hope accidentally gave us two different colors of paint, so at lunch one of the translators and I headed out into the city to see if we could find some matching paint. We went to the local paint store and they didn’t have anything that could help us. However, when we were walking back, we happened to find a hardware store that only had a couple different colors, and one of them just happened to be the color that we needed! This way we were able to finish both houses!!! For dinner, we had beef stew with rice and beans, and many of the kids said this was their favorite meal so far. After dinner we had a trip debrief with the whole camp at the chapel, where we got to talk about what God did on this trip, as well as what He taught us. We will check in later tonight for River club day!!!
