Tuesday was our first paint day of the trip. The Pastor’s wife led us to a community member’s house and we got to work. By my eye, the house was roughly 200 square feet, so with 28 people we had to split up into groups, one group would be inside painting, and the other two would go out and do evangelism in the community. We met a lady who had surgery on her hip and couldn’t leave her house, she said she had not had any visitors in months and was very excited to show us her pet parrot Bella. We helped connect her to a church so they could send church members over to visit her.
Dinner last night was a type of curry and white rice, everyone loved it, it wasn’t too spicy. We’re looking forward to sports camp with the kids today.
