We finished VBS at Baba Dogo today. While everyone is completely exhausted and physically drained, no one was ready to be done serving. I've heard multiple students say they can't believe it's over so quickly and they aren't ready to say goodbye. It's hard to describe, but it really feels like everyone settles in just about when it is time to leave.
We also did our last round of home visits today. The chances we all have to meet the families and spend time in the homes of individual kids on the visits is beautiful and seems to be some of the most meaningful time spent for our Valley students.
As things finished up today, it was so special to see many students asking about child sponsorship and going out of their way to try and reconnect with kids they hope to sponsor. It's clear this trip is leaving a mark on our students' hearts.
