Halfway to our Outback Destination

Gulargambone was our goal today, and we loaded up at 8am. A couple of stops later, and…KANGAROO!!
Sorochi spotted the first one just before Saunder’s Gully, and there was great rejoicing among the people (of the bus)! We continued to see kangaroos and emus on our way.
Quick stop at Dunedoo for some dinky di dog’s eye (meat pie) and some entertaining public bathrooms that played music on a timer, and we continued on our drive!
We arrived at our lodgings at Caravan Park late afternoon, and the boys set up tents for camping out while the girls moved into rooms.
On the drive we had been hearing information about some of the experiences of the First Nations people we are going to be with over the next few days, so it was an honor to meet Andrew’s good friend, Pastor Henry, and have dinner with him while hearing some of his personal life experiences.
After dinner, we circled up outdoors in the deepening night, and spent some time singing, doing devotions, and listening to Pastor Henry share some more. Devotions and prayer were led by Victoria V., and we heard testimonies from Morgan B. and Faith D.
The night ended with showers and some boisterous UNO. :)

P.S. Our boys have been amazing gentlemen on this trip, moving quickly to help, volunteering to assist, allowing the ladies to go first for meals…so proud of them!!
