From the Acropolis, Zeta took us through the Parthenon Museum. It is incredible! Architecturally, it mimics the Parthenon itself, and provides a beautiful atmosphere to see Greek artifacts up close. And Zeta’s teaching enhances the whole experience.
From there, we went to a Greek Orthodox Church. The students did so well being active learners and asking great questions.
A late lunch of gyros (and an incredible dessert) was followed by a couple hours in downtown Athens where students explored and shopped for supporters, family, and friends.
On our way back to Cosmovision we made a quick stop at the Olympic Stadium before returning for a very late dinner! And then our debrief, prompted by students’ questions, consisted of a deep dive into Greek Orthodoxy and its comparison to Protestant Christianity.
I will load a second set of just pics from these adventures in downtown Athens.
