Yesterday we were back in Las Yayas for another day of serving, where the team took on painting an entire house for a couple in the community. It’s something that might seem simple to us, but by the end of the day it meant the world to them to see their home completely transformed.
After we wrapped up, the pastor thanked our group for the time we spent serving in his community this week. He shared how grateful he was that the students played such a big role in it all and reminded us that we’re always welcomed back in Las Yayas.
Today we’ll be heading to Rincon to spend time connecting with members of the community and running a sports camp in the afternoon. When we get back tonight, we’ll all come together for a night of worship.
