The Tanzania blogs may continue to come in chunks as we are able to post only when we have a bit of down time AND we have electricity and/or internet connection.
For the day at Kitumbeine Primary School we divided up leadership roles among our VCS students so they had an opportunity to co-lead an area of a vacation Bible school style morning. Two students let the songs that were in a previous post, two students took on games, and two prepared a Bible time to share.
Each group had the use of a translator for their time leading. The Bible story team shared the gospel through the parable of the 99 sheep and the prodigal son. They then asked the students who wanted to ask Jesus into their hearts and led them in a prayer. It wasn’t even possible to count the number of hands that went up and it was amazing watching so many young children show interest in knowing Jesus.
