It remains one of the top moments for many of our Engage trips - participating in a church service! Tonight, we were able to join brothers and sisters in a small village off the Amazon river. We were met with joyful believers who invited us to join them in praise and worship, and the teaching of God‘s word. They also invited our team to lead in worship, testimony, and preaching.
What a joy it was to see our team step up! Beck, Zoe, Addie, Callie, Cooper, and Teddy led the worship, while Ryland shared his testimony. I had the privilege of preaching.
Our team did a great job of leaning in even when the songs and preaching were in a different language. Proud of them! Praise the Lord!
