We began this morning with a devotional from Mrs Tonk on Mark 9 which reminds us to have faith even in our unbelief.
After putting on a decent layer of sunscreen and bug spray, we set out in two groups using smaller boats to canvas the surrounding homes sharing the Gospel and inviting families to our upcoming afternoon clinic.
The people on the river don’t have many means and don’t get many visitors, so we were a welcomed sight. A culture shock for many of our students and they handled it very well with lots of smiles and an eagerness to share Jesus.
Some of our students went through the gospel bracelet with families while others shared the gospel using the evangacube.
We just finished up yet another wonderful meal and will be heading out in a few minutes for the afternoon clinic, which will consist of handing out reading glasses, various types of medicines, playing soccer and prayerfully lots of discussions about Jesus!
