Day 3, Bom Dia! We started off today with a great breakfast and devotion. Next on the agenda was heading into the community to hangout with the kids, play outside, color and a lot of different games. We also held a small clinic today to handout Advil/tylenol, children’s vitamins and prenatal pills. We also held a small clinic to hand out reading glasses to the community. Everything went great this morning after the clinic and then we headed back to the boat for lunch. After lunch and some downtime, we went back into the community to do VBS with the children and play games and give the kids some ice cream. We will head back to the boat for dinner and get ready for the day tomorrow. We will be traveling overnight to the next community where we will start fresh tomorrow. I am posting this a little early today due to having service at the moment. Hope these brief updates are enough to give you a little taste of what’s going on.
It is very humid here, all these kids are gonna come back with the best glowy skin you will ever see. They are having such a good time not being screenagers and just hanging out playing games and talking.
