Friday Funday

Today was our fun day so there’s not much to report other than your kids had some incredible sight seeing experiences. Groups went kayaking 4 miles round trip to a 2 mile round trip hike to a 100 ft waterfall called secret falls because it used to be secret and sacred to Hawaiian royalty. One group also got to go tubing down a river along the waialeale mountain.
After dinner we all sat around to debrief and affirmed each person, encouraging them in the ways we’ve gotten to know them and see God work through them this week.
Then we sat down and wrote letters for each student from Hawaii so they would have something to be encouraged and feel loved by and remember us from.
It was a fun way to end a great week!
Tomorrow we are going to finish painting the house we have been working on at St. John’s Episcopal. We are hopeful some of the Hawaiian kids will be able to join us to paint with us. Then, we will clean everything up before heading to the airport to make our way back to you all!
